Carsyns Gordon, a member of the Women’s College World Series champion Florida State University softball team, is pictured with her dad, Tom Gordon, while holding the championship trophies. A Palmetto Bay resident, Carsyns is a product of the Howard Palmetto Stingrays softball program and Coral Reef High School. Named to the ACC All-Academic Team, she lead FSU softball and the ACC with 60 runs, 54 walks, 11 doubles, four triples, 12 home runs, 51 RBI and 19 stolen bases. The junior first baseman was named to the NFCA Southeast All-Region First Team, All-ACC Second Team for the second time and is pursuing a degree in sport management.
