Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Hello Miramar!
I hope you are all keeping well. We were very fortunate to have been spared the wrath of Hurricane Ian. Our team stepped into action to make sure the community was kept up to date on a regular basis and many residents and businesses took advantage of the sandbag distribution at 3 of our facilities to safeguard their properties. Our hearts go out to our neighbors on the west coast who were severely impacted. We are still in the hurricane season which officially ends on November 30th, so I encourage our residents and business owners to stay vigilant, stay safe and look after each other.
As City Manager, I am proud of the services provided by our city staff. Our team is committed to improving the delivery of city services in a timely and efficient manner and we will strive to become even more responsive and proactive in meeting the needs of our entire community. We are fortunate to have a team of dedicated employees who take pride in their work and who have a service mentality ready to assist in any way. In Miramar, we make quality customer service a priority. So, whether you’re looking to get a new or renewal passport, a building permit, a garage sale permit, child-care, adult daycare, senior services or looking to book a venue for your next special event, we are here to serve you.
If you have any ideas as to how we can improve, please let us know. We’re here, we’re listening, and we want to hear from you. Please do not hesitate to email me at rvirgin@miramarfl.gov.
Thank you.
