Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Miami International Auto Show 2022 will host a First Responder Forum on Saturday, October 15th at 11:30 a.m. in Hall C of the Miami Beach Convention Center. First Responders from Miami Dade County and local municipalities will be admitted free to attend the Forum.  The session will be held in the MIAS EV Test Track Powered by FPL Evolution Charging Network, one of two Indoor EV Test Tracks at this year’s Auto Show.

The First Responder Forum will offer valuable information that addresses how best to diffuse a dangerous situation when an EV is involved in an accident on South Florida’s roadways. Well-informed automotive representatives will lead the discussion which will conclude with a Q & A session.

It is estimated that as of December 2021 about 2.3 million electric cars are on U.S. roads with the greatest number in California followed by Florida.  The U.S. market share of plug-in electric passenger cars increased to 4.6 percent by the start of 2022.
