The Honorable Dariel Fernandez, Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, is proud to invite elected officials, local leaders, and members of the media, to the “2025 Kids Tag Art” – Winners Awards Ceremony and Check Presentation of the funds raised for the benefit of the Miami-Dade County Public Elementary Schools. The ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 22 at 10:00 a.m., at the Downtown Office, located at 200 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33128.
“We are inspired by the creativity and imagination these students have shown,” said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “This initiative not only nurtures artistic expression but also supports our schools with much-needed arts funding. We’re proud to celebrate these students and the educators who guide them.”
This year’s contest drew 69 outstanding entries from talented young artists across the county. A panel of community sponsors had the difficult task of selecting the top three winning designs, evaluated on their creativity, alignment with Florida’s lifestyle, and age appropriateness. The selected designs will have the opportunity to become a vanity license plate that ca be purchased by family members, friends, and supporters.
The original top three designs will be framed and exhibited throughout the year at the main Tax Collector’s Downtown Office.
