The MIAMI short FILM FESTIVAL (MIAMIsFF), in partnership with Deering Estate, presents Focus On: Struggles and Growth of Life on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 7 p.m. at the Deering Estate. Guests can enjoy a welcome cocktail and the screening of five short films about how life is filled with challenges that test our resilience and determination. The screening will be indoors at the Deering Estate Theater. Details and tickets online.

The Miami short Film Festival is dedicated to promoting the short film genre, showcasing films from 1-20 minutes long. The Festival is international in scope, bringing exposure to the world’s best independent up-and-coming filmmakers. MIAMIsFF’s goal year after year is focused on motivating directors, screenwriters, actors, and producers to make films and share them with fellow film makers and industry professionals. The ultimate goal is to bring exposure to independent up-and-coming filmmakers.

About the Deering Estate
Deering Estate, located at 16701 SW 72 Ave. in Miami, is a 21st Century house museum, cultural and ecological field station, and a national landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places, owned by the State of Florida and managed by Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department. Deering Estate is designated as one of seven Miami Dade County “Heritage Parks” which have a vital role in our community’s history, environment and in providing recreational and cultural experiences.
