Renowned Chef Chris Valdes whose Cuban heritage is the inspiration for his Latin-inspired dishes, is set to host and judge ¡Que Delicioso!, the inaugural Spanish language original series streaming on the Roku Channel. He will host the seven-episode competition which celebrates Latin cuisine alongside Mexican-born Chef Marcela Valladolid. ¡Que Delicioso! Streams on Roku November 25th in the USA and December 1st in Mexico.
In each episode, an internationally acclaimed chef from Latin America will introduce one of their signature dishes to the show’s contestants. Both from different Latin countries themselves, the two go head-to-head as they recreate and reinvent the classics by tapping into their own cultural backgrounds for inspiration. The two expert judges decide which cook pulled off the best fusion and gets to take home the $10,000 prize.
ABOUT CHEF CHRIS VALDES
Chris Valdes is a Latin American chef, television personality, author, philanthropist and celebrity caterer. Through his culinary expertise, Chris has embraced many cultures, fusing Caribbean flavors with modern influences to create a host of iconic dishes.
Those iconic dishes are featured in Chef Valdes’ debut cookbook “One With The Kitchen” that showcases his relentless drive to share his passion for cooking. Additionally, to bring people together over their love of food, Chef Chris also created his own platform on YouTube, starring in his very own series, “Cooking with Chris.”
Being a finalist on “Food Network Star” and “Star Salvation,” introduced Chef Chris to a national audience. Following his stint on Food Network, led to him being featured on the cover of several magazines and appearing on various national television shows.
Chef Chris is now a frequent guest on “LIVE with Kelly and Ryan” and has also been featured on Food Network’s “Chopped” and “The Sherri Shepherd Show”.

Combining his passion for food with his love for the local community, Chef Chris has worked with various organizations including No Kid Hungry and the March of Dimes. He generously donated over 50,000 meals to community first responders, seniors and families in need during the Covid 19 pandemic.
His journey to share Latin-inspired dishes with everyone continues, a path filled with plenty of laughter and unrelenting motivation along the way.
