Miami’s Community Newspapers are proud to support Clemente Canabal for City of Homestead, Seat 6, on October 6th, the seat currently held by Councilwoman Patricia Fairclough Staggers.  A dedicated husband and father, retired physician, and entrepreneur, Clemente Canabal is running for Homestead City Council because he loves Homestead and believes our city deserves transformational leadership to chart Homestead’s path to tomorrow.

In 1994, along with his family, Clemente immigrated to the United States in pursuit of the American Dream. Using his expertise as a retired physician, Clemente managed home healthcare agencies, providing vital services to the most vulnerable members of our community. As an active member in our community, Clemente has volunteered his time with various organizations and he is a fixture at his children’s school, Somerset Academy Silver Palms. Additionally, he is very active within his parish, St. Martin de Porres. Clemente and his wife, Ana Maria, reside in Capri, Isles At Oasis, with their two sons, Hermes and Eros.
