Mitchell Landsea of Boy Scout Troop 711 in Palmetto Bay celebrated his Eagle Court of Honor on June 1 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. En route to his Eagle Rank, Mitchell earned 25 Merit Badges and conducted his Eagle Project by building three picnic benches and installing them on the Florida Trail at three different campsites. Mayor Karyn Cunningham attend Mitchell’s Eagle Court of Honor and presented him with a proclamation from the Village of Palmetto Bay. Mitchell will begin his college career in the fall at Florida State University where he will focus on Environmental Engineering.
