New ArtSouth exhibit to feature works of Kadja Klarreich-Giglio
Skyfall by Kadja Klarreich-Giglio

ArtSouth and the Village of Palmetto Bay have joined again to display a local artist’s work.

This time the exhibit at Perrine Community House will present the work of Kadja Klarreich-Giglio.

The special opening night event for the exhibit will take place on Saturday, Jan. 11, from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

The artist described her background.

“Although I always loved creating with my hands, it wasn’t until the pandemic that I discovered my true passion for art,” Klarreich-Giglio said. “Inspired by nature and my surroundings, I began by painting figures and landscapes. Then my paintings expanded from Realism to surreal dreamscapes inspired from within.

“My work reflects my curiosity and cultural influences that have made an impression in my life. I spent the first seven years of my childhood growing up in Haiti before I moved to Miami in 1998. Today I continue to experiment with painting techniques and subject matter that reflect my curiosity and cultural influences,” the artist continued. “I mainly work with acrylics and oil paints, sometimes incorporating spray paint and ink into my designs. I strive to create work that embraces my interests and moments of inspiration as I refine my voice as an artist.”

Perrine Community House is located at 900 E. Perrine Ave., Palmetto Bay, FL 33157. Parking is available nearby.
