The City of North Miami is excited to announce that Mayor Alix Desulme, Ed.D., has been appointed to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Intergovernmental Advisory Committee (IAC). This appointment underscores the City’s dedication and commitment to influencing national telecommunications policies that directly impact the community.

The FCC’s Intergovernmental Advisory Committee serves as a vital platform for amplifying the interests of state, county, local, and tribal governments in the FCC’s regulatory processes.
