All the little ghosts and goblins, along with their families, were treated to a boo-tiful time at Miami Children’s Museum’s 12th annual “Not So Scary Family Halloween Bash!” on Sunday, Oct. 16.

Co-chaired by Cheryl ans Michael Jester, and Kelly and Chris Melchiondo, the event, presented by Terra and Jorge and Sol Bernstein, raised more than $150,000, which will directly support the museum’s educational programming.

Considered one of Miami’s best family Halloween events, costumed trick-or-treaters made their candy collecting way around the museum’s galleries. Families had a bewitching time donut decorating with Dunkin Donuts, mini pumpkin decorating, enjoying performances by the museum’s theater troupe and haunted music playing throughout.

Guests also enjoyed a Not So Scary (or was it?) Haunted House experience and sweet treats and snacks available throughout the day along with delicious lunch provided by Outback Steakhouse. The event also had free parking courtesy of Miami Parking Authority.

Once again, Miami Children’s Museum’s Bash provided families various photo-op moments with different characters and backdrops to remember all the Halloween memories created on this spook-tacular day.

All funds raised through the event directly support the museum’s educational programs, ensuring the highest quality educational and arts programming for South Florida’s youth and families.

Title Sponsors for the event were Terra and Jorge and Sol Berstein; Presenting Sponsor was Miami-Dade Commissioner Keon Hardemon;

Haunted Activity Sponsors were Anton Fajardo and Sky Zone Doral.
