Our Lady of Guadalupe enjoys children's choir and many other ministries

Our Lady of Guadalupe has a terrific ensemble of young singers of all ages that practices on a regular basis and perform at various masses throughout the year. Under the direction of Cristina Cova, they continue to increase their repertoire of songs and enjoy sharing their voices with everyone.

Most recently, the children performed for the 11:45 a.m. mass, singing several of the songs and giving the choir a little break for most of the mass on Sept. 29.

The ministries at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Doral, under the leadership of its Pastor Father Israel Mago, are hard at work planning retreats, classes, outreach efforts, drives, and more. With the coming holiday season, the activity in the parish is nonstop. While the regular masses are in English and Spanish, the church also offers masses, on regular basis, in many other languages such as Portuguese and Italian.

Members of the English Choir, are also always looking for singers and musicians who wish to share their time and talent with a fun and very devoted group of volunteers. There is a special need for the English choir and anyone interested may contact the ever-talented and tireless Choir Director Rosario Duran via email at rosariodurana@gmail.com to arrange for an audition.
