r Trinity School (PTS) announced that Suzanne Gottlieb Calleja, Associate Head of School for Communications and Strategic Partnerships, was named to the Community Advisory Board of South Florida PBS.
Gottlieb Calleja will leverage her vast experience to provide valuable insights to ensure that South Florida PBS programming meets the varied educational, artistic and cultural needs of South Florida’s diverse communities.
She joined Palmer Trinity in 2005 as director of communications and community relations where she spearheaded strategic brand-building efforts and strengthened relationships with both the local community and media outlets. Prior to her transition to the education sector, Gottlieb Calleja worked in the entertainment industry for nearly two decades, including work on documentaries shown on PBS.
Active in the community, Gottlieb Calleja is also an amateur cellist and has played with the Alhambra Orchestra, a local chamber group, for five years. She is on the executive board of the Deering Estate Foundation and is a member of Smith College Club of Miami. She previously served on the Palmetto Bay Partnership Committee and was a board member at Temple Beth Am Religious School and the Palmetto Bay Business Association. She was also a commissioner on the Council of Advancement and Support of Education Marketing Commission.
Gottlieb Calleja holds a master’s degree in global strategic communications from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in government and French from Smith College.
