Palmer Trinity School (PTS) reveals a lineup of events taking place throughout the spring semester offering a variety of experiences focused on celebrating its multicultural community. These events embody Palmer Trinity School’s commitment to celebrating diversity and fostering global citizenship.
“March is truly ‘Global Month’ at Palmer Trinity since these events allow us to celebrate our vibrant multicultural community and provide opportunities for students, faculty and staff to engage in meaningful global learning experiences,” said Patrick Roberts, Head of School. “From the Chinese Competition to MIAMUN VIII and the International Festival, we are reminded of the power of diversity and collaboration in shaping a better world.”
Scheduled Events:
19th Florida Statewide Chinese Competition
On February 28, Palmer Trinity School will host more than 200 students and school representatives from across Florida for an immersive event featuring cultural displays, language and academic competitions, and engaging activities that celebrate Chinese heritage and promote cross-cultural understanding.
Eighth Annual Miami Model United Nations Conference (MIAMUN VIII)
On March 8 and 9, more than 100 student delegates from PTS and area schools will step into the roles of diplomats. Engaging in debates and resolutions, students will explore pressing global issues, learning about different countries, cultures and the intricacies of diplomacy.
23rd Annual International Festival
On March 15, global month ends with the school’s signature event. The International Festival defines Palmer Trinity as it brings together more than 3,000 guests, including students, families and members of the broader South Florida community. Guests can savor culinary delights from over 30 unique booths, explore handcrafted goods from around the world, and enjoy vibrant performances highlighting music, dance and cultural traditions. Creative arts activities and community service initiatives will also be on display, highlighting the school’s dedication to education and service.
