Palmer Trinity School has announced that senior Conlon P. Jacobs is a finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program.
Jacobs is one of more than 1.3 million entrants who qualified for being among the highest-scoring students of the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). As one of 15,000 finalists, he is being honored with a Certificate of Merit from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). The national academic competition has been recognizing students and awarding scholarships since 1955.
“Congratulations to Conlon for receiving this coveted recognition from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. We couldn’t be prouder to have him represent our school,” said Patrick Roberts, head of school.
Merit Scholarship award winners across the U.S. will be selected and notified through mid-June.
