Rock ‘n’ Roll lives! Ever-popular Plan B returns to the Doc Thomas House Keystone Stage on Saturday, Mar. 26, with Pinecrest residents Dr. Scott Kenward (guitar and vocals) and Al Roque (drums), South Miamian Alex Leeds (vocals, percussion, guitar), High Pines’ Al Larcada (bass) and Kendall’s Alvaro Gomez (keyboards, guitar, vocals) performing a repertoire of classic and contemporary Rock ‘n’ Roll with a dash of the unexpected.
The Conservation Concert series holds special sway with Kenward: “I have a special affection for bird sanctuaries,” he said. “I grew up in Pinecrest next to the old Parrot Jungle and we had macaws roosting in our yard.”
Attendees can perch under the Audubon oaks to enjoy Plan B’s depth of Classic Rock hits paired with Bird Bar wine selections and bodacious brews complements of Republic National Distributing Co.
A pair of Birding Binoculars will be raffled by gracious community partner Dade Heritage Trust to mark triple milestones: the Doc Thomas House 90th anniversary, the Tropical Audubon Society 75th anniversary and Dade Heritage Trust’s 50th anniversary! Concert attendance is required to participate in the free raffle, and you must be present to win.
