PTS teacher selected by Council on Foreign Relations as Education Ambassador
Dr. Sean D. Foreman

Palmer Trinity School has announced that history teacher Dr. Sean D. Foreman has been named a 2025-26 Education Ambassador by the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).

Foreman is one of only three educators from Florida to join a distinguished national cohort dedicated to advancing students’ understanding of global affairs.

“I’m honored to have been selected from the hundreds of teachers who applied to be a part of this group championing global literacy,” Foreman said. “This program is designed to bring global affairs to life in the classroom and prepare students to engage with the world around them.”

The CFR Education Ambassador Program is comprised of both high school and higher education cohorts and is an eight-month engagement that connects educators with free educational resources, professional development activities, and a vibrant network of like-minded professionals.

The 2025-26 Ambassador cohorts include 70 high school educators, 80 higher education faculty, and administrators from 45 states. From rural schools to major universities, this diverse network brings a shared mission to classrooms across the country: helping students engage meaningfully with the global issues that affect their lives.
