Commissioner Garcia’s passion for his community began over 20 years ago as a Councilman in Hialeah. His tenure as a State Representative and State Senator was marked by a focus on aiding those most in need. Commissioner Garcia’s educational background includes an AA from Miami-Dade Community College, a BS in Political Science from Florida International University, and an MBA in Health Care Administration from the University of Miami. His professional experience spans roles in marketing, public relations, and community relations.
