Red Cross Walls Mural
To raise awareness and funds to help people impacted by Hurricane Ian
What: A 12’ x 160’ Mural on the American Red Cross Headquarters.
When: Tuesday, November 29th 10:30am – noon
Were: 335 SW 27th Ave, Miami, FL 33135
Why: The American Red Cross Greater Miami & The Keys, Florida power & Light (FPL) has partnered with International Artist Kyle Holbrook to utilize the extremely high visibility of the Red Cross Headquarters front and side facade (“Red Cross Walls) to increase education and accessibility as to the services the Red Cross provides for the community, raise awareness and funds to help people impacted by Hurricane Ian.
To bring the Red Cross mission to life on the on the front of The American Red Cross Greater Miami & The Keys Headquarters.
This is the first mural by the The American Red Cross Greater Miami & The Keys since founded in 1917, it depicts Disaster Response in Hurricanes and tragedies from grey to blue sky while highlighting veterans, fire safety and partnership with FPL.
How: Red Cross Staff, FPL staff, leadership, Youth, and families will help International Artist Kyle Holbrook paint the mural by writing messages and images expressing appreciation for the amazing work the The American Red Cross Greater Miami & The Keys.
Now that the mural is completed for Miami Art Week an NFT and limited edition print will be created that will allow future donations to the American Red Cross to go further.
A signed framed image of the mural will be given to FPL as a thank you for continued support and recent $1,000,000 donation during Miami Art Week.
The Mural is sponsored Florida Power & Light Company.
