Coral Gables welcomed Robb & Stucky back to the east coast of Florida on Thursday, Feb. 25, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and Grand Opening Gala at the company’s new showroom in the heart of the city.

The new store is located at 4711 LeJeune Rd. and the showroom’s layout lends a boutique feel to the location and is uniquely Miami. With exposed ceilings, and an open floor plan, customers can easily browse top selections in an airy space.

Robb & Stucky executives, managers and designers celebrated with 350 business partners, civic and industry leaders, and fashion aficionados. The festivities were joined by Coral Gables Mayor James Cason and the president of Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, Mark A. Trowbridge, who made a special appearance during the ribbon cutting to welcome the retailer to the city and offer their support and congratulations.

“The Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and the city of Coral Gables are thrilled at the return of Robb & Stucky to the City Beautiful,” Trowbridge said. “For more than 100 years, Robb & Stucky has been the leader in the home furnishings and décor business, a perfect fit for our community of sophisticated and fashionable consumers. As a business organization, we believe strongly in those brands that stand out from the crowd and Robb & Stucky is leading the way. To this we say welcome back and welcome home.”

This is the fourth Robb & Stucky location and the first to be reintroduced to the east coast of Florida since the company’s reinvention in January 2012.

“We are very pleased that our first east coast store is in Coral Gables,” Robb & Stucky president Steve Lush said. “Coral Gables is an exciting, vibrant community and we are proud to be a part of it. Our newest showroom elevates furniture shopping and interior design to an entirely new level. The store is bright and spacious, with a lot of natural light, making it easy to shop.

We feature the finest quality furnishings from the United States and Europe, all displayed in beautiful room settings that will inspire and delight our customers,” he added. “Having just celebrated our 100th anniversary, we feel this store, in addition to our upcoming location in Boca Raton, is evidence of our growth and commitment to Florida. We can’t wait for our customers to experience it.”
