The holiday spirit was alive and vibrant at West Hialeah Gardens Elementary School on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, as School Board Member Roberto Alonso, MegaTV, and the Drama Foundation teamed up to host a heartwarming Toy Giveaway event.
This joyful celebration brought holiday cheer to the students, ensuring that they experienced the magic of the season with a special gift in hand. The children’s smiles radiated as brightly as the holiday decorations, with many eagerly lining up to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, joyfully holding their new toys. The event was filled with laughter, excitement, and a strong sense of community that truly embodies the spirit of the season.
Board Member Alonso extended heartfelt thanks to all those who made the event a success, particularly Ms. Mildred Gonzalez, CEO of the Drama Foundation. He also expressed deep appreciation to the administration and staff at West Hialeah Gardens Elementary, with special recognition for Principal Hector Guerra, for their steadfast support in bringing the celebration to life.
“The holiday season is a time for giving, sharing, and uniting as a community,” said Board Member Alonso. “It is truly heartwarming to see the joy and excitement on the children’s faces. I am deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this celebration possible. I hope these moments of happiness create lasting memories for our students.”
