Seminole Theatre looking for kid actors to be in Frozen Jr.Does your child dream of taking center stage? Now is the time to make those dreams come true.

The Friends of the Historic Seminole Theatre are announcing the next production of The Junior Players, a theater conservatory program providing training and performance opportunities for young people. Kids, ages 7-17, can now register for the spring production of Frozen Jr. the musical.

The rehearsals will start the first week of November and continue into February at the Seminole Theatre. Some Saturday’s may be supplemented by a weekday. Students sre expected to be available every evening for tech rehearsals Feb. 17-19, and for the three performances Feb 20-22 (Friday and Saturday evenings, Sunday afternoon).

No experience required. The Jr. Players are open to all who wish to be involved. Auditions will be held on the first rehearsal day, and parts will be assigned for the production. Not every student can play a lead role, but every student will be an integral part of a fun production and have a fantastic learning experience.

To register, go to seminoletheatre.org, call 786-650-2073 or visit the Seminole Theatre box office at 18 N. Krome Ave., Homestead. A deposit of $100 is required to secure the spot, and the balance will be due a week prior to the first day of rehearsals. Deposits are non-refundable.
