Seven candidates are in the race for Village Council spots

With the Village of Palmetto Bay gearing up for the November elections, seven candidates have filed with Village Clerk and Elections Official Missy Arocha. The final qualifying period is in September, but the following Registered Candidates are in the race (all are listed in alphabetical order).

For the position of Mayor:

Karyn Cunningham (currently District 1 Councilmember)

Eugene Flinn (the incumbent mayor)

Tim Schaffer (a former District 2 Councilmember)

For Council – District 1

Patrick Fiore (a former District 1 Councilmember)

For Council – District 3

Robert Buzzelli

Marsha Matson

Michael Weissberg
