An ensemble from the SFYS, one of the nation’s leading youth music organizations, will provide musical entertainment in the lobby area before and after the show, which is part of Actors’ Playhouse Musical Theatre for Young Audience series.
A Christmas Carol, the Musical begins at 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, Dec. 1-24. On Dec. 3, the SFYS ensemble will provide entertainment at 1:30 p.m. and again at 3:15 p.m., following the show.
The ensemble’s appearance is sponsored by the City of Coral Gables.
“The Musical Theatre for Young Audiences series is outstanding and provides children in our community the opportunity to experience and enjoy musical theater,” said Marjorie Hahn, South Florida Youth Symphony executive director. “We’re proud to be able to add to that cultural enrichment on Dec. 3.”
