Waste Collection Rates

Effective May 1, 2022  your monthly rate will increase from $18.75 to $30.46.  There is no change in the services provided: recycle, bulk and garbage pickup. And there is no change too method of payment – it will be included in monthly utility bill

Rate Change Overview

Your monthly waste collection rate has not changed for over 11 years. The rising cost of products, labor and services no longer makes this sustainable. This adjustment is necessary to offset the increased costs associated with waste collection.

The new rate is inline with what neighboring cities pay for waste collection with the added bonus that Miramar is not placing limits on bulk pick-up.
