South Florida PBS December programs, your perfect companions for the holidays

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
South Florida PBS (WPBT, WXEL, & Health Channel) is kicking off the winter holidays with NEW music specials such as the Sarah Brightman: A Christmas Symphony, 20 Years of Christmas with the Tabernacle Choir, and River City Drumbeat.
In December, we hope to spread holiday joy with programs that highlight the meaning of family, friends, and togetherness showcasing shows such as, Lidia celebrates America- Overcoming the Odds, and Lucy Worsley’s 12 days of Tudor Christmas.
Don’t miss this month’s POV: Unapologetic as well as Alabama Black Belt Blues which with archived musical recordings, and contemporary blues artists tells the story of how music has changed from slavery to what we know today.
This month, Health Channel encourages us to find Hope, Courage, and Resilience in the Health Channel’s series, HOPE IS HERE. Each month new hour-long episodes will feature recollections of people who battled cancer, their stories full of hope and survival, even amidst hardship and loss.
