Daniel Guerra, vice president of sales at Fortune Christie’s International in South Miami, will be installed in January as District 4 vice president of Florida Realtors®, the state’s largest professional trade association. He will serve his fellow professionals in District 4, which encompasses Miami-Dade County and the Florida Keys.

“South Florida will continue to offer excellent opportunities for buyers, sellers and investors,” said Guerra, who is active in residential and commercial brokerage and development. “Developers are delivering exciting new living options with many incentives and amenities for buyers. Builders are also using new technology to construct affordable homes on land that was previously not possible, and new zoning discussions are underway to increase available inventory and more affordable homes.”

Guerra is a member of the Miami Association of Realtors® and served as 2021 residential president. He has also been a director of the state association and has served on National Association of Realtors® (NAR) committees. In the community, he has been active in hurricane relief efforts, as well as the Coastal Conservation Association, Realtor® Relief Fund, and Silent Angels. He also serves as chairperson of the Environmental Review and Preservation Board and vice chair of the Planning Board for the City of South Miami. “I feel that these positions have helped me understand new opportunities for housing for our community,” he said.

As district vice president for the state association, Guerra will focus on supporting Realtors® through education, advocacy and service programs. “Our members bring their market knowledge, commitment to service, and high professional standards to helping buyers, sellers and investors achieve their personal goals,” he said.

Throughout the district, Realtors® are actively involved in civic organizations, while supporting the state’s housing market and protecting private property rights, said Guerra. “It is very important to be involved in our communities and very satisfying to give back.”

Florida Realtors® serves as the voice for real estate in Florida. It provides programs, services, continuing education, research and legislative representation to its more than 238,000 members in 51 boards/associations.
