The Village of Palmetto Bay’s annual State of the Village Address will take place on Thursday, Dec. 11, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Palmetto Bay Park. Dress is casual and ballpark refreshments will be served.
The event is sponsored by Audi Miami South, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Palmetto Bay Urgent Care & Outpatient Center, Baptist Health, Miami’s Community News, Kimley-Horne, Palmer Trinity School and Westminster Christian School.
Village Mayor Karyn Cunningham, who will present the address, said she is looking forward to the event.
“On Thursday, December 11, we’ll come together for one of Palmetto Bay’s most meaningful traditions — the State of the Village Address,” Mayor Cunningham said. “This annual event is an opportunity to reflect on our shared accomplishments, celebrate the partnerships that make our community strong, and look ahead to the future we’re building together.”
She went on to describe what will take place.
“This year, we’ll also take time to recognize some very special guests who have made a lasting impact in our community, including pickleball advocates Lilly Azel and Conner Porry, School Board member Luisa Santos, Chamber South and many more individuals and organizations whose dedication helps make Palmetto Bay shine.
“Palmetto Bay continues to thrive thanks to the passion and commitment of our residents, businesses, schools, and village staff who work every day to make our community safer, greener, and more connected,” the mayor continued. “Together, we’ve achieved so much — and together, we’ll continue shaping a village that reflects our values of service, sustainability, and community spirit.”
Mayor Cunningham said that she looks forward to sharing this special evening with everyone to celebrate all that makes Palmetto Bay the “Village of Parks and the place we’re proud to call home.”
Palmetto Bay Park is located at 17535 SW 95 Ave. To RSVP, visit https://form.123formbuilder.com/6900322/state-of-the-village-address-2025.
