Accomplished local artist Puchi Noriega, who has twice had her work exhibited by ArtSouth in Palmetto Bay’s Perrine Community House and numerous other locations, will conduct summer workshops in both painting and sculpture in her studio.
Noriega previously has taught art classes and workshops at art schools and institutions in Peru, Canada, Costa Rica and the United States. This summer’s workshops will be intense immersive classes offering teens and adults a chance to learn a variety of techniques. The five-day classes will take place on the following dates:
June 19-23, Sculpture
June 26-30, Painting
July 10-14, Sculpture
July 17-21, Painting
Each class will run Monday through Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. The cost is $300, which includes materials. To reserve a space, contact her by email at noriegapuchi@gmail.com.
Noriega said she is looking forward to the classes and working with the students.
“I love teaching and seeing people grow and develop their art skills,” she said.
