Summer Cabaret Concert Series at the Deering Estate

The Summer Cabaret Concert Series at the Deering Estate is back! Guests can enjoy musical performances inside the historic Great Hall at the Deering Estate. The 2021 concert series kicks off on Saturday, July 31 with multi-award winning pianist, singer and composer Fanni Sárközy. The concert on Saturday, August 21 will feature International Jazz Vocalist Nikki Kidd.

Concerts begin at 8 pm and the main gate opens at 7 pm. Seating is first come, first serve inside the historic Great Hall. One table accommodates a private party of a maximum of 4 people. Guests are welcome to bring small coolers and picnic baskets, including food and drinks. A cash bar will also be available.

About the artists:

Fanni Sárközy is internationally recognized, highly trained pianist, singer and music educator who is equally proficient in jazz and classical music. Born into a family of musicians, Fanni began her classical piano studies at the tender age of 6. She graduated with Honors at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary with a major in piano in 2004.

Nikki Kidd is an International Jazz Vocalist with a palatable passion for music. Her musical style is the embodiment of classic and current jazz and her voice has the ability to transport you to the days of speak easies.

The Deering Estate preserves the 1920s era Miami estate of Charles Deering, Chicago industrialist, early preservationist, environmentalist, art collector, philanthropist and first chairman of the International Harvester Company. The Deering Estate is a 21st Century house museum, cultural and ecological field station, and a national landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places, owned by the State of Florida and managed by Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department. The Deering Estate is located at 16701 SW 72nd Avenue in Miami.
