The City of Fort Lauderdale’s Neighbor Leadership Academy (NLA) Class 12 is collaborating with the Fort Lauderdale Rotary Club to stock the resource closet at North Fork Elementary School to support students during the upcoming school year. The goal is to cultivate a nurturing and caring environment where students feel supported and equipped to focus on their educational journey. The community resource closet will provide:
- school uniforms
- socks
- backpacks
- boys’ & girls’ undergarments
- school supplies
- hygiene items
- shelf-stable food
