Mayor Alix Desulme, Ed.D., and the City of North Miami invite the community to the Street Naming Ceremony honoring business mogul and philanthropist, Bernard “Benny” Klepach.
Thursday, Feb.15., 2024, at 11 a.m., a new street sign will be unveiled baring Klepach’s name on NE 20th Avenue, from NE 149th Street to NE 150th Street. Desulme will also present Klepach with a key to the City of North Miami.
Klepach serves as the Chairman and CEO of the world’s largest in-flight duty-free company, 3Sixty, which will soon be moving its business headquarters to North Miami. Klepach is known for his pioneering vision, leading to significant advancements in areas like e-commerce and home delivery platforms. His experience, spanning more than three decades, has been instrumental in fostering successful partnerships across various business sectors.
Committed to public service and community development, Klepach has served on boards for Mount Sinai Medical Center, Cleveland Clinic and the Miami Transplant Institute at Jackson Memorial Hospital, bringing his leadership and insights to the forefront of healthcare.
“The City of North Miami is proud to recognize Mr. Klepach for his leadership, vision and longtime philanthropic efforts. His impact has inspired innovation and collaboration throughout his various business and community engagement endeavors,” said Mayor Desulme.
Additionally, Klepach has been instrumental in supporting initiatives and infrastructure development in Haiti. As an advocate for education, Klepach has purchased school busses and funded school construction projects in Haiti.
