    The Youth Fair Announces Second Annual ‘BE THERE! 5K’ Presented by Baptist Health

      Run There on Saturday, March 16, 2024, 7:30 AM to Benefit The Youth Fair’s Scholarship Program 

      The Miami-Dade County Youth Fair & Exposition’s BE THERE! 5K, presented by Baptist Health, is back for its second year on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Proceeds from the event will benefit the organization’s scholarship program. 

      Participants will be able to run or walk throughout a fun course at the Miami-Dade County Fairgrounds, including the midway, in celebration of the opening weekend of the 2024 Youth Fair. The BE THERE! 5K begins at the main entrance of The Youth Fair and continues through Tamiami Park, the fairgrounds and alongside the rides, concession stands, exhibits and concludes next to the Ferris Wheel by the circus tent and Spaceventure Murals. 

      Registration is now open through race day on March 16th, but participants can register early to save. 

      • Now – March 15, 2024: $45
      • March 16, 2024 (race day): $50

      Participants who finish the race will receive a finisher’s medal, race shirt, race bib and one admission to the 2024 Youth Fair valid for opening weekend (March 16 or 17, 2024). The overall top three male and top three female will receive a one-year membership to Planet Fitness. The top individual male and female in each age category will also receive an award.

      The 2024 Miami-Dade County Youth Fair & Exposition will take place at the Fairgrounds SW 112 Avenue & Coral Way, its home since 1972, from March 14 thru April 7, 2024, except March 18 & 19 and April 1 & 2. The 2024 Miami-Dade Youth Fair & Exposition will provide 21 days of all-new surprises as well as amusement rides, one-of-a kind delicious food, free live outdoor entertainment, thrilling rides, agricultural and academic exhibits and much more.
