The Town of Davie is hosting a holiday toy drive to collect new and unwrapped children’s toys now through Thursday, December 19, 2024. Toys collected will be allocated to over 300 children in need within Davie.
To donate, please bring toys in their original packaging. Toys must be suitable for children 0-12 years old and teens 13-18 years old.
Accepted toys can include, but are not limited to:
- Dolls (all ethnicities)
- Brick Blocks (Legos)
- Action Figures
- Jewelry Making Kits
- Science and Discovery Kits
- Wireless Earbuds or Headphones
- Sports Equipment
- Pop-it/Sensory/Fidget Toys
- Remote Control Cars
- Toy Cars (Hot Wheels/Matchbox)
- Dinosaurs
- Board Games
All donated items must be new and unwrapped. Please note that the Town will not accept used or lightly used toys. Residents can drop off toys during the following times at the locations listed below.
Drop-off Locations:
Monday – Thursday
- Town Clerk’s Office (Building C): 8800 SW 36th Street | 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Pine Island Multipurpose Center: 3801 S. Pine Island Road | 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Pine Island Fitness and Aquatic Center: 3800 SW 92nd Ave. | 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Davie Police Department Lobby: 1230 South Nob Hill Road | 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Davie Fire Rescue Department Main Lobby: 6901 Orange Drive | 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friday
- Pine Island Fitness and Aquatic Center: 3800 SW 92nd Ave. | 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Pine Island Multipurpose Center: 3801 S. Pine Island Road | 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday
- Pine Island Fitness and Aquatic Center: 3800 SW 92nd Ave. | 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Pine Island Multipurpose Center: 3801 S. Pine Island Road | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Toy distribution will be completed in partnership with local youth groups and clubs.
