Town program helps seniors to save money buying foodThe Town of Cutler Bay is hosting another of its Active Adults presentations on Wednesday, Aug. 25. This one is on the topic of saving money on food, even when shopping for foods that are better for your health.

The theme is that healthy eating doesn’t have to cost a fortune — seniors can save money and still eat well. The presentation will provide information on just how to do that. The session begins at 11 a.m. and will take place at Franjo Park, 20175 Franjo Rd.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided, but space is limited so anyone wishing to attend should RSVP soon with Paola Perez at 786-205-5427 or at pperez@cutlerbay-fl.gov.

Active Adults series of events are designed for Town residents ages 55 and older. Other Active Adult events include art classes and special performances at the Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center in Cutler Bay.
