The guided kayak tour will explore the 23-acre lake at Lakes by the Bay Park.

The Town of Cutler Bay will host its next guided kayak tour of the 23-acre lake at Lakes by the Bay Park to experience the local flora and fauna on Saturday, July 16, at 10 a.m.

Once again, the town is partnering with Nature Postings. Nature Postings’ mission is to provide experiences and reveal the unspoken knowledge of nature through hands-on study sessions, interpretive programs and guided excursions with the goal of encouraging individuals to embrace education and the enhance quality of life on Earth.

The organization offers programs such as kayak tours, camping trips, snorkeling tours, summer camps, specimen collection programs, school programs, field trips, outreach, birthday parties, events, nature workshops and more.

The organization’s main purpose is to expose families to the beauty and enjoyment of nature around them and create experiences to increase awareness about the natural world.

All gear is included in the tour. Tours are limited to 24 people on a first-come, first-served basis.

Lakes by the Bay Park Canoe/Kayak Launch entrance is on SW 85th Avenue (just south of SW 212th Streeyt).
