Taking part in ceremonies marking Memorial Day are members of the Miami-Dade Police Department Honor Guard, Miami-Dade Police Department Armed Forces Team, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Junior Cadet Honor Guard and St. Andrews Pipe & Drums. The Village of Palmetto Bay and the Deering Estate joined to host the Memorial Day celebration on Saturday, May 25, attended by some 1,200 village residents and guests.
