Village schedules ‘National Night Out’ on Aug. 6 at Coral Reef ParkThe Village of Palmetto Bay will continue an ongoing yearly event on Aug. 6 by hosting “National Night Out” from 6 to 10 p.m. at Coral Reef Park, 7895 SW 152 St. in Palmetto Bay.

The event is a national community building campaign observed in cities across the country for the purpose of promoting police-community relations and neighborhood camaraderie.

The event will feature police vehicles and representatives, free food (hot dogs, frozen lemonade and popcorn) while supplies last, bounce houses, face-painting, a game truck, sponsored giveaways and an outdoor movie, Kung Fu Panda 4.

Event sponsors include Baptist Health, The Collection and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
