The Village of Palmetto Bay’s popular annual event, “Light Up Your Holidays,” will be back this year on Saturday, Dec. 2. It will take place once again at Village Hall in the outside courtyard area.
This family-friendly event will feature dance and musical performances, food and craft vendors, snacks, and last-minute shopping, snow flurries, letters to Santa and a giant Christmas tree. There will be face painting for the kids and caricatures for all ages, as well as arts and crafts projects.
“The holidays are a time of hope and renewed promise for a brighter tomorrow,” said Village Mayor Karyn Cunningham. “‘Light Up Your Holidays’ and our Menorah Lighting are both great reminders that even in the darkest times we can gather as a community to celebrate all that is good.”
The Dec. 2 event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. and is sponsored by Baptist Health South Florida and The Collection.
Village Hall is located at 9705 Hibiscus St. Parking is available at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary School nearby. Shuttle service will run from 5:30 to 10 p.m.
