Vinos at the Venetian event benefits Coral Gables Community Foundation

Evensky and Katz/Foldes Financial, on Friday, Nov. 15, hosted over 200 guests for Vinos at the Venetian, an evening poolside affair benefitting the Coral Gables Community Foundation.

Vinos at the Venetian took place at the historic Venetian Pool. All evening, guests bid on a curated wine auction while enjoying live music by Guerra Grooves and performances by Zhantra Entertainment. Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at the same location where they once took swimming lessons or would cool off during summer vacation as kids.

Vinos at the Venetian is the second consecutive wine auction the Gables-based wealth management firm hosted to support the Coral Gables Community Foundation’s scholarship program. Last year, the wine auction was held at the Kampong, a National Tropical Botanic Garden.

“With the success of last year’s event, we were more than eager to have another wine auction and evening soiree at a cherished Gables location to raise funds to support our work in the community,” said Mary Snow, executive director of the Coral Gables Community Foundation. “We are so grateful to Evensky & Katz for being a longtime donor and our host.”

Vinos at the Venetian’s sponsors were: Host Sponsor Evensky & Katz/Foldes Financial Wealth Management; Venetian Sponsors Authorial Studios, Baptist Health South Florida, Celebrity Cruises, Crystal Academy, Express Travel, Lewis Fomon, Pamela Garrison, Stacey H.S. Hipsman & Mitchell Hipsman, Silver Bluff, Don & Jeannett Slesnick, Brock Sullivan and Terranova; Poolside Sponsors Mauricio Barba, Coral Gables Magazine, Shelton Coats – The Coats Group, Felicity Fang, Debbie & Tom Korge, Jenny May and Scott Koch of the MayKoch Multifamily Group and PurePoint Financial.
