On September 30, 2021, three new members were inducted into the Westminster Christian School Athletic Hall of Fame. This year’s inductees are Jordan Cronkrite ‘14, Tim Irvin ‘14, and Kelli Kleis ‘14.
Jordan Cronkrite ‘14, Football, was a member of 2013 State Semifinal Football Team. He earned 2nd Team All-Dade in grade 10, and 1st Team All-Dade in grades 11 and 12. Also during his senior year, he was named 1st Team All-State and a United States Army All-American, finishing his high school career with over 3,000 rushing yards and 33 touchdowns. He continued his football career at the University of Florida and University of South Florida. At USF, he rushed 1,000 yards as a junior, and finished his collegiate career with over 2,000 rushing yards. He also played basketball at Westminster.
Tim Irvin ‘14, Football, was a member of 2013 State Semifinal Football Team. He earned 1st Team All-Dade in grades 9, 10, 11 and 12. During his senior year, he was also named 1st Team All-State and a United States Army All-American. He was also rated by Scout and Rivals as a top 50 player in Florida, finishing his high school career with over 2,000 rushing yards, 1,000 receiving yards, and 43 touchdowns. He continued his football career at Auburn and ECU. At Westminster, he also played basketball and ran track.
Kelli Kleis ‘14, Softball, was a member of the 2014 State Championship Softball Team. She was 1st Team All-Dade and 1st Team All-State in grades 10, 11 and 12. During her senior year, she was named Dade County Pitcher of the Year, State of Florida Pitcher of the Year, and MVP of the 2014 State Championship Game. Her senior year record was 23-2 with 152 Ks and a .145 ERA. She continued her softball career at University of Northern Colorado.
They join nearly 80 alumni who have made a positive impact on the school’s athletic program through their athletic abilities and Christian witness. Hall of Fame members graduated from Westminster at least three years prior to induction and demonstrated a clear Christian testimony while at Westminster.
