The Town of Cutler Bay is having its annual “Wings Over the Bay” chicken wing cook-off again. The cooking competition and popular community food event will take place on Saturday, May 14, from 2 to 6 p.m., at Cutler Ridge Park, 10100 SW 200 St. in Cutler Bay.
Admission is free.
Previous year’s events have attracted between 1,000 and 2,000 people. This is the fifth annual event. Last year’s event was cancelled due to the pandemic.
Area chefs participating in the chicken wing cook-off will compete for cash prizes and trophies in three categories: Buffalo, Special Grill and Parmesan Garlic. Prizes also will be awarded for “People’s Choice” and “Best Decorated Booth.”
Besides the great chicken wings and the competitive spirit the event will also feature:
● Live music by Ricky Valido
● Food trucks
● Wing eating competition
● Kids activities
