The 2026 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle is proof that a minivan does not have to be boring. In fact, for a family that values comfort, flexibility and practicality, this top-of-the-line Pacifica can make a strong argument against buying a large SUV.
The Pinnacle is the most luxurious version of the Pacifica. Its starting price is $56,095, before taxes, fees and destination charges. All-wheel drive is available, giving buyers a choice between front-wheel drive and AWD.
Power comes from Chrysler’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, producing 287 horsepower. It is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Chrysler also offers an available tow group that allows the Pacifica to haul up to 3,600 pounds when properly equipped.
For a Miami driver, the AWD option is worth considering. AWD cannot make a driver immune to poor road conditions, but additional traction can be useful when the weather turns ugly.
The real attraction, however, is the Pacifica’s interior. Chrysler’s Stow ‘n Go seating and storage system allows the second- and third-row seats to be folded into the floor, creating an exceptionally flexible passenger and cargo area. Chrysler says the Pacifica offers up to 243 seating configurations, with seating for up to eight available on select versions. Airport runs, school carpools, shopping trips, family vacations and weekend excursions are all easier when passengers have room to stretch out and luggage doesn’t have to be stacked to the roof.
The Pacifica is also designed to make getting into the third row easier. Available easy tilt second-row seats allow them to move forward, providing access to the third row without having to remove the second-row seats.
The Pinnacle adds genuine luxury touches. Standard equipment includes quilted Sepia Nappa leather-trimmed seats and 20-inch wheels and platinum-chrome exterior accents. This level of detail makes the Pacifica particularly appealing for people who spend a lot of time in their vehicles.
Fuel economy on the gas-powered V6 provides a useful combination of power and capability. Chrysler advertises up to 28 mpg on the highway and 19 mpg in the city. There is also a Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid Pinnacle for buyers who want electrification. Chrysler lists an EPA-estimated 32 miles of all-electric range and up to 82 MPGe combined for the plug-in hybrid.
For the Miami family that needs one vehicle to do almost everything, the 2026 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle makes a strong case for itself. Give the Pacifica a spin and tell me what you think.
