The Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department has been given a new fully developed one-acre park, located at SW 82nd Street and 72nd Avenue, courtesy of Mill Creek Residential Trust. The group whose parent company is Colonnade Owner at Dadeland LLC is the developer of adjacent residential buildings.
The park, named Modera Colonnade Park, features a playground, dog park, shade canopies, an open play area, site furniture, landscaping, and walkways. The donated land with amenities is valued at $1,034,964. A Special Taxing District has been established to maintain the park.
