2024 Nissan Ariya Empower enhances the fun of driving

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Starting at $47,690, the all-electric 2024 Nissan Ariya Empower SUV has 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels that immediately make an impression with an overall stylish design.

It’s part of Nissan’s overall philosophy called “timeless Japanese futurism,” which emphasizes simplicity and modernism.

Nissan’s minimalist approach removes a feeling of clutter you get inside some car cabins. Instead, the Ariya Empower’s instrument panel includes capacitive haptic switches seamlessly integrated into the wooden center dash, which vibrate when touched to offer the same feeling as mechanical switches.

The spacious cabin features a completely flat floor to provide ample leg and headroom.

There also is an available adjustable power-sliding center console, an available innovative center storage box and a fold-out tray, which allow convenient access to features that make the ride more comfortable.

The zero-emissions powertrain is designed to meet the driving needs of a wide range of customers, with standard-range 63-kWh battery or 87-kWh long range battery. The Nissan Ariya Empower delivers up to 304 miles of range. It also has power that gets you from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.8 seconds.

The e-4ORCE dual motor all-wheel drive gives confidence to drivers on all surfaces with a great level of performance. There is responsive acceleration with up to 389 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. e-4ORCE continually optimizes front and rear torque allocation and applies independent brake control at each of the four wheels to maximize the cornering force generated by each one.

Intuitive, connected 12.3-inch displays for the instrument cluster and center display are oriented in a wave-like shape to ensure important vehicle information can be easily reached and scrolled through with a simple swipe.

You also get peace of mind with standard Nissan “Safety shield 360,” including automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, high beam assist and rear automatic braking.

The Nissan Ariya Empower offers a first in the U.S. market: the “ProPILOT Park” can take over steering, acceleration, brakes and gear shift to guide the vehicle into a parking spot.

All of these great features come together to make the Nissan Ariya Empower SUV a great drive with great performance. Give it a spin and tell me what you think.
