The Youth Fair is back for its 72nd year, now through Sunday, Apr. 7. This year, the Youth Fair is featuring a “Spaceventure” theme with “out of this world” foods, animals, rides, entertainment, exhibits and now, on-site dog adoptions.
The Youth Fair has partnered with Miami-Dade County Animal Services to not only have dogs available for on-site adoptions, but will provide four free admission tickets for the 2024 Youth Fair to anyone who adopts a dog from Miami-Dade Animals Services, now through Apr. 5.
“Adopting from Animal Services saves lives and provides loving homes to our fur-ever friends. By doing so, you will bring joy to both you and your new pet. Plus, you get to enjoy
The Fair for free. It’s a win-win,” said Miami-Dade County Commissioner Roberto J. Gonzalez, District 11.
Miami-Dade County Animal Services currently has more than 640 dogs available for adoption. This initiative aims to increase community awareness with the goal of finding these dogs lifelong homes.
“This partnership is made possible through joint effort with Miami-Dade County District 11 Commissioner Roberto J. Gonzalez and Miami-Dade Animal Services. We are looking forward to helping these dogs find new homes, while helping bring a safe fun time to families to enjoy at The Youth Fair,” said Eddie Cora, president of The Youth Fair.
“This generous gift to adopters by the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair is an amazing example of how much our community cares about and wants to help our wonderful shelter pets find their loving families,” said Annette Jose, Animal Services director. “It is a testament to how community businesses and leaders are willing to join our life saving mission, help promote shelter adoptions and help our homeless pets.”
