AHS Residential announces the completion and grand opening of AHS Tamiami in West Kendall, a 264-unit rental community offering residents a new, reasonably priced alternative to increasing housing and rental prices.
Alex R. Ballina, director of asset management of AHS Residential, thanked Miami-Dade Commissioner Joe A. Martinez for supporting the development during a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony at the community. “We completed AHS Tamiami in a record-breaking nine months to help meet the overwhelming demand for value-centered rental housing that continues to surge in Miami-Dade County,” Ballina said.
AHS Tamiami is a three-story, garden-style community offering one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans ranging from 610 to 1,045 square feet featuring open concept kitchens with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, in-unit washer and dryer, and central air conditioning. Community amenities include a pool, a multi-purpose clubhouse with a 24-hour state-of-the-art fitness center, complimentary Wi-Fi in common areas and private parking.
“This is the first workforce housing project in District 11,” Commissioner Martinez said. “I am excited to celebrate the grand opening of AHS Tamiami at a time when the need for new, high quality rental housing for moderate-income families in Miami has never been greater.”
Located at the prime intersection of SW 136th Street and 157th Avenue, AHS Tamiami sits across the street from the Miami Executive Airport, just west of Florida’s Turnpike, and approximately 30 minutes from downtown Miami.
