U.S. Air Force Sgt. Josh Myers of Kendall (pictured on right) won his Jui Jitsu match in Brussels, Belgium on Oct 16. Sgt. Myers, a Weapons Systems Controller, is stationed at Spangdalem Air Force Base in Germany. Myers, 23, is a graduate of the Varela High School JROTC program where he was commander his senior year. He spent his first three years of duty at Elmendorf-Richardson Air Base in Alaska, followed by a year at Osan Air Base in South Korea. He has been in Germany since January 2021.
