Andrew Wolf, an independent life insurance professional with over 40 years of experience in Miami, has been appointed as the new Board Chair of Alper JCC Miami. Wolf brings a wealth of leadership and community service experience to his new role, having served in various capacities with the Greater Miami Jewish Federation (GMJF) and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, among others.
As an active fundraiser and advocate for charitable causes, Wolf currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and its Foundation Board of Trustees. He also chairs the Pledge Redemption Committee. His commitment to community service is further exemplified by his roles on the Temple Beth Am Board and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Ambassador’s Legacy Council for Planned Giving.
Prior to his appointment as Board Chair of Alper JCC Miami, Wolf held leadership positions with the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, including Chair of the National Agencies Committee, Chair of the South Dade Branch Board and Co-Chair of the Jewish Incubator Grants Committee. Additionally, he was the Development Chair of the JCC, where he built a department from the ground up.
As integral members of the JCC community, Wolf and his family actively participate in various community events and programs. Their shared commitment to Jewish values and community service is reflected in their active participation and leadership roles. Their three sons, Matthew, Gregory, and Steven grew up on the Alper JCC campus and are proud veterans of almost every program affiliated with their community. The Wolf family’s dedication to the Alper JCC Miami has strengthened the fabric of the community, making it a vibrant and welcoming place for all.
“Andrew’s extensive experience in the nonprofit and Jewish communities, coupled with his proven leadership skills, will make him an invaluable asset to the Alper JCC Miami Board. We’re thrilled to welcome him aboard,” said current Alper JCC Miami Board Chair Brad Sokol.
