SIME Realty blanketed much of Coconut Grove and the Coral Gables immediate area on Oct. 24 during the “Bake a Difference” event, a community-driven fundraiser that involves family and friend groups setting up bake stands throughout Miami Dade and Broward counties.
The event raised money and awareness for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and its Comprehensive Epilepsy Program.
The team from at Sime Realty spent hours baking tasty treats for the company team bake sales that proved to be a good investment and a wonderful way to promote the epilepsy program.
While Sime’s Sally Harris set up a bake stand at the Quick Pick in Coral Gables, she met a lady very familiar with Miami Children’s who surprised her by writing a check on the spot for $500. Among the others participating on the Sime team at other locations were Belinda Sime, Scott Sime and Lessie Franco.
